For effective learning these should be some impelling forces as well as certain objectives to be achieved. Knowledge of results may be considered as a forceful factor in the form of motivation for learning and thus it is supposed to enhance the learning outcome. Evaluation of learning or achievement is an inseparable aspect of education, comparatively knowledge of result’ is a new phrase in the psychology of learning. The specific problem undertaken here is the present study is ‘how learning is a function of knowledge of results? Attempt is made here to know the factors responsible for increasing the efficiency of learning. The study will practically help the authorities of Universities, Boards of Education besides-the class room teachers who can make the students conscious of the potentialities.
